Convenience Center
The Garrard County Convenience Center is an 8-acre waste disposal facility located on Hanging Fork Road just off of Highway 52 at the Boyle County line and is managed by Rumpke. The facility is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The following items are accepted at the convenience center:
- Household Garbage $1 per bag
- Couches $10 each
- Recliners $5 each
- TV’s $5 each
- Mattress/Box Springs $10 each
- Tires $3 each
- Construction Debris $38/ton
- Miscellaneous $15/level truck load
The Garrard County Convenience Center also accepts the following items FREE of charge:
- Air Conditioners
- Refrigerators
- Washers
- Dryers
- Freezers
- Stoves
- Miscellaneous Metal Scrap
